The Natural History Museums Mars and Meteorites Night


Yesterday I attended a Night Safari on Mars and Meteorites at the Natural History Museum where we heard talks by thee planetary scientists and were given some time to explore the museum afar hours.

Epifanio Vaccaro started off the talks giving an absolute beginners guide to meteorites; explaining what they are and where they come from.

Natasha Stephen gave her talk on how the Natural History Museum work on researching meteorites and going into depth on the history of missions to Mars.


Does water on Mars mean life on Mars?

Joe Michalski gave the final talk of the evening on water and why we are so desperately trying to find it in space and in particular Mars.
